If your drawings look squashed, or distorted the first thing to check is that your Line-us is calibrated properly. There are some detailed instructions on how to calibrate on our help page, but the picture below will give you an idea of how to tell whether you need to calibrate - the arm should be ‘square’ to the body as shown in the picture on the right.
